Marty will be missed by many. He will be remembered for his days doing the Milkmans Matinee on WNEW-AM - New York- he went on to WBLS and WPIX- He also did the national commercials for Bayer Aspirin and Delta airlines...Later on in life he became a bartender at Buzzy O'Keefes Peartrees- went on to Brews and then Gallaghers, Hurleys and ended his career at the famous Neary's He had a love for small children and loved dogs and cats and later on in life he began to ride equestrian. For those of you who do not know, he was an avid reader and loved to read about history in general. He was proud to have served in the US Navy and was on the USS Curratuck and two other fabulous ships. He had an enormous love for the sea... We are having a celebration of life at the Madhatter on Sept 18th on 3rd avenue at noon and will share the funny and or sensitive stories so that he can live on forever. Marty was a very religious person and he believed in the power or prayer. He was very proud of all of his children, Gerry,Laura, Karen,Patrick, Timothy and Kelly. They brought him much joy and many many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He always professed that its important to not lose sight of the destination but to always enjoy the journey..
