Jeffrey Scott King, age 49 entered her heavenly home on August 2, 2012. He was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and a resident of Baton Rouge since 1983. He was a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists during his early years and helped coach several local sports teams. He was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Visitation will be at St. John on Monday, August 6, 2012 from 5pm till 8pm. Visiting will resume on Tuesday August 7, 2012 from 1pm till service time at 3:30pm conducted by Father Matt Dupre. Jeffrey is survived by a daughter Shelby (18), and son Logan (21), of Baton Rouge. He was greatly loved by everyone in the community, who will miss their "King". He will be remembered for his smile, kind spirit, and his love for music and making people laugh. He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Janet Kingman,and brother Charles Kingman.
