Fly, fly precious one Your endless journey has begun Take your gentle happiness Far to beautiful for this Cross over to the other shore There is peace forevermore Fly, fly do not fear Don’t waste a breath, don’t shed a tear Your heart is pure, your soul is free Be on your way, don’t wait for me Above the universe you’ll climb On beyond the hands of time The moon will rise, the sun will set But I won’t forget

Intro text

Jaiden Mendez-Joquera was granted his angel wings on June 4th, 2019 surrounded by family and friends. Born in Bronx, New York Jaiden later moved to Beverly, Massachusetts with his father to continue his education. Jaiden was known by family and friends to be compassionate, intelligent, sharp-witted and most of all happy. Always eager to learn, he loved school and he equally loved to share his knowledge with those around him. “He was wise beyond his years, he taught me something new everyday, he was my best friend, my go to person, my hero,” said his father, Luis. Despite his age, Jaiden could carry a conversation with just about anyone, no matter the topic. He loved people, he loved talking to others, and he loved making others smile. “He was a special little boy, he lit up the room. There wasn’t a life he didn't touch” Said his mother Stephanie.” Still a young boy, Jaiden enjoyed making drawings for others, collecting limited edition sneakers and playing video games with his friends and little brother. All who knew him agreed that Jaiden possessed  immense strength, perseverance, and the ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. He touched countless lives and his effect on others will last years to come. Jaiden is survived by his loving parents Stephanie Cruz and Luis Mendez; Step father Jose Cruz; younger brother Luis Jr. Mendez, and baby Sister Nina Cruz; Aunts Adrianna Martinez, Natasha Mendez, Michelle Medrano, and Jessica Joquera; Uncles Marcos Mendez and Travis Mendez; Grandparents Adelina Joquera and Jeffery Joquera. ARRANGEMENTS-The family of Jaiden has decided to conduct a private Memorial service. To the Parents of Jaiden, I am sorry to hear about the loss of your Dear son, he seems to have been wonderful person full of life, how could anyone not have loved him. Life can be so unfair and unpredictable, because we never think about losing our loved one. And to lose a child is a devastating thing. In Psalms 34:18, it helps us to know that God is close to the brokenhearted, he saves those who are crushed in Spirit. May the God of all comfort be with your family in this difficult time.
